Machu Picchu Kayak Fest is a festival of the whitewater kayakers community to celebrate and promote the diversity of the rivers that surround the Inca citadel. The festival takes place in the town of Santa Teresa and the surrounding rivers only 1hr30's walk from the archaeological park of Machu Picchu.
